First Attempt at a Two Tiered Cake

This past weekend was my mom's birthday, so I decided to attempt a two tiered cake for her. With it being my first ever attempt, it was an all day project, but I was quite happy with the result.

The bottom tier is a Swiss Chocolate cake and the top tier is a Dark Chocolate Fudge cake. It is all covered with chocolate buttercream icing. :)

Daisy Cake

This weekend I made a chocolate cake with raspberry filling for a potluck and here's what it looked like when it was all done and decorated:

I know, the lighting is really bad, but you get the picture. :P Also, the pastel yellow color of the cake really clashed with the color of the cake tote bottom, but I wasn't about to move the cake off of the tote for pictures after I had just put it on. I didn't want any mishaps occurring.
