There is no getting the first post back, so I'll just have to make do without it.  The gist of it was that I recently started taking Wilton cake decorating classes and my sister really wanted me to make a blog about my decorating "endeavors," so I finally decided to appease her.

Here's a picture of the second cake I decorated in level one of the classes:

Then I made this cake outside of class for a couple of friends who were celebrating their first wedding anniversary:

Hopefully soon I will have pictures of what I've been working on recently in the third level of classes, Gum Paste and Fondant.

  1. Wow your cakes really look good :) I have always wanted to be able to decorate with frosting really nicely, but frosting and me never get along very well! I like the flowers too. Did you make them with a pastry gun or by hand? My grandma taught me to make roses and we always made them by hand.
